Why Coursework Resources for ICT?
As an ICT teacher in a North West London Secondary school, I find it increasingly challenging to cover all the work for the large differentiated groups of students of all levels in any given lesson. I'm sure there are many other teachers in similar positions. The higher ability students don't have enough work to focus on, the lower ability take up all my time to re-explain everything and somewhere in the middle the average students lose out too.
For this reason I came up with courseworkresources.com. With this website I intend to add coursework resources for different ICT coursework as I'm teaching specific areas of work in the ICT curriculum. By adding these coursework resources regularly, and updating them as I get feedback from students and teachers, the students will be able to access work they missed or want to look at again, and the students that want to crack ahead with their coursework can do so!
I will only focus on coursework resources for GameMaker, whatever branches off that and the OCR Nationals Level 2 (Unit 1, 2, 3, 4, 20, 21, 22 & 23) courses. I intend to make available Schemes of Work, Real Moderated Example units, Curriculum maps and Learning Objectives as I complete them.
Use the links on the top and side navbar (where available) to see which coursework resources are available in the form of help files, video help files or tutorials, and worksheets (doc/pdf).
If you have any enquries or feedback, please use the Contact Us section of the website. If you want to participate in any forums regarding this website, coursework resources or any topic posted, use the Forum section. As questions arise, I will update the Frequently Asked Questions section.
I hope this website will add to your learning or teaching experience and make it an enjoyable one!
