For this course, you will find all the coursework resources to complete Unit 1 - ICT Skills for Business and Unit 21 - Creating Computer Graphics. When you successfully complete this course, you should ask your teacher to mark and submit your work for external moderation.

This is normally the combination of units to obtain the first equivalent GCSE for Level 2 ICT.

Unit 1

Downloadable Tunes

In this unit you will learn all the skills needed to complete the coursework for the Downloadable Tunes Scenario. The coursework resources will show similar examples of the tasks you have to do to complete the coursework. Once you understand the skills needed for the tasks, you can complete your coursework by following the Unit 1 tasks for the Downloadable Tunes scenario.

For the resources in this unit I have used the following resources:

I suggest you complete tasks 2 -8 before attempting to do task1 . Please note that this unit is completed to a pass level, although the database task is completed to a distinction level. Task 7 - newsletter will be completed in the near future as well as other tasks to ensure resources to a distinction level. At the moment it is not needed to achieve a pass.

Unit 21

Recycle GB Graphics

In this unit you will learn all the necessary skills to create computer graphics for a website, including graphics for a navigation bar, navigation buttons and a banner. This unit supports Unit 2 - Webpage Creation and we therefor suggest that you take great care to save all your graphics completed for this unit and complete unit 21 before starting Unit 2.

The coursework resources will show similar examples of the tasks you have to do to complete the coursework. Once you understand the skills needed for the tasks, you can complete your coursework by following the Unit 21 tasks for the Recycle GB scenario.

The graphics created in unit 21 will be used and referred to in Unit 2. The coursework resources in this unit are leveled at a merit and more coursework resources will be made available soon to support working at a distinction level.
